Another big week. Can’t wait to crack ’em open.
Yes, Know:
- X-O Manowar #5
- Harbinger #4
- Winter Soldier #10
- Wolverine and the X-Men #16
- Batman #0
- Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #0
- Suicide Squad #0
- The Shade #12
- Comedian #3
Self vs. Shelf
- AvX #11 (The collector in me won this out-of-the-blue battle. Bastard.)
Oh, and umm, some sad news: I missed The Rocketeer; and from what I hear, I really missed it. Oh, me! I need my fix of Samnee! Here’s hoping my guy’s distributor has one sitting around somewhere.
And no Fatale either. I’m dying over here!
What did you get in your bag?
Turning pages,
Scott
Winter Soldier was the only one there that I actually would buy, though I didn’t. WatXM I probably wouldn’t grab if it was free. Hate that book. I got Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, X-Men Legacy, and Journey Into Mystery.
I see that you didn’t care for Wolverine and the X-Men this week. (A “Skip it,” indeed!) I didn’t read it yet, but I’m not all that surprised; the AvX tie-in has sucked the life–its silly little soul–out of it. I did thumb through the thing, though; and even if Aaron is losing his battle against the Phoenix Force, one thing is clear: Bachalo emerges unscathed.
Wolverine and the X-Men #16 was actually pretty good. Nary an X-Man, but full of the snark factor that sets this title apart from its Uncanny sibling, which was inexcusably sloppy and ultimately unreadable–from the very beginning.
I do suggest you to buy Team 7: it’s awesome. : )
On your recommendation, I just may do that! I may be dropping Suicide Squad after a terrible zero; if I do, I might have room for it. Ironic twist: Team 7 was name-dropped in SS #0, the book I may drop in order to pick up Team 7! Glass couldn’t have written it any better himself! Thanks.
Thank you as well for your reply! : )
